Last week, Oaklands College celebrated the annual Apprenticeship Week in style, by welcoming current and former apprenticeship students to the college in a fantastic celebrating of success!

National Apprenticeship Week is a nationwide celebration of our countries’ apprentices and the great opportunities available for them through this unique route of study.

Tuesday 5th March saw the St Albans campus host drop-in sessions for those interested in learning more about the apprenticeships available at Oaklands College, with Welwyn Garden City hosting the second drop-in session on Thursday 7th March from 12-3PM.

Additionally, there was an Apprenticeship Lunch on Friday 8th, which gave students the opportunity to celebrate the completion of their Apprenticeships with fellow colleagues and their assessors, whilst a succession of awards were given out to star students.

We took the fantastic opportunity to celebrate our student case studies across our social media platforms, profiling all of the success stories from Oaklands College.

Additionally, OakExtra also ran some Careers Advice sessions for students across both campuses to help guide them through the next stages of their professional development.
