Take off for Travel & Tourism students
Travel and Tourism students were this week treated to a brand new learning environment this week.
It’s been an exciting summer for Travel & Tourism students at Oaklands’ Welwyn Garden City Campus, who have been eagerly anticipating the opening of Oaklands latest new learning facility.
The conversion of a small classroom in B Block, masterminded by the creative flair of Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer Bradley Brack, introduces the exciting recreation of a traditional passenger plane for students to experience working within a professional environment.
This week, students were pictured in smart attire to replicate that of air hostess staff and took part in a variety of role-play and learning scenarios to prepare for a future career within the industry.
The facilities, which were kindly donated to the college by local aviation supplier CabinAir Services will further enhance the quality of learning for students.
