The Corporation’s sub-committees
The Corporation has three additional sub-committees which members attend. These are Audit, Search (both of which are a statutory requirement) and Remuneration. The Audit Committee advises on matters to do with systems of internal control and the audit arrangements; the Search Committee advises on the appointment of members to the Corporation, and the Remuneration Committee advises the Board on the performance objectives, performance reviews and the salary levels of the Principal and Chief Executive, the Deputy Principal and the Clerk.

Being a member of the Corporation at Oaklands is a unique position to be in. The Corporation, largely a group of unpaid volunteers, changed the lives of 10,000 students last year. The Corporation is responsible for overseeing the activities of the College on behalf of the community and we want to ensure that we have a group which is representative of our community.
