A Level Students Boost Exam Confidence Through ‘Positively You’ Workshop

A Level students at Oaklands College recently took part in an engaging Exam Mastery & Motivation workshop delivered by external organisation Positively You in the College’s Immersion Centre.

The sessions were designed to support students as they prepare for their upcoming examinations, focusing on practical strategies to enhance academic performance, wellbeing and confidence during what can often be a demanding time of year.

Throughout the workshop, students explored a range of valuable techniques, including effective revision and memory strategies, managing stress and anxiety in exam settings, building motivation and resilience, and developing skills to support both future study and personal growth.

The interactive sessions encouraged students to reflect on their own study habits and mindset, while equipping them with practical tools they can apply not only during exam preparation but throughout their wider academic journey.

Opportunities like this demonstrate Oaklands College’s continued commitment to supporting students holistically — ensuring they feel confident, prepared and motivated to achieve their full potential.
