Lore Adekeye Returns for Second Season with Oaklands Wolves

Lore Adekeye Returns for Second Season with Oaklands Wolves

Oaklands Wolves are pleased to confirm that Lore Adekeye will be back for his second season with the club in the 2025/26 NBL Division 2 campaign.

The 5’7 guard plays a key role as the team’s point guard, bringing valuable leadership, composure, and experience to a developing Wolves roster. Known for his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, Adekeye provides a steadying influence and helps set the tone for his teammates.

Prior to joining Oaklands, Adekeye built up strong experience across the British basketball scene. He spent three seasons with Coventry University Flames (2016–2019), before later suiting up for London Westside (2021–22) and London Sharks (2022–24).

Head Coach Liam Jefferson said:
“I’m delighted we have been able to retain Lore for a second season. Last year he brought know-how and leadership to a young roster and was a real steadying presence at the point guard position, impacting the game on both sides of the ball. Having players like Lore and Deji return to our programme is evidence to the culture and ethos we are building here and I am excited to see how he can build on last season.”

As the Wolves look ahead to the new season, Adekeye’s presence in the backcourt will be a major asset, ensuring the team continues to grow with confidence and control.
