Eight talented rugby players from Oaklands College have been selected for the latest England Women’s U18s training camp. This outstanding achievement reflects both their individual commitment and the strength of the Saracens Women’s Rugby Pathway delivered at Oaklands College.
The group joined a forty seven player national squad for a three day residential camp at Loughborough University, which began on Friday 12 December. The programme was led by England Under 18 Women’s Head Coach James Cooper and Assistant Coach Ollie Perry. The squad included three previously capped players, one of whom was Oaklands student Lily.
This milestone highlights the continued success of the Saracens Pathway in developing elite female rugby players. It also demonstrates the dedication, ambition and hard work shown by the athletes and the coaching staff supporting them.
