Today, we came together as a college community to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
At our St Albans Campus, our Public Services students led a moving Remembrance Service. The event began at 10:30 am, as students gathered outside the main reception before marching in formation to the front of Mansion House, where the service took place. Staff and students joined together in reflection before observing a college-wide two-minute silence. It was a proud and respectful moment, as we stood united to pay tribute to those who gave their lives in service.
Meanwhile, at our Welwyn Garden City Campus, we started hosting a 360-degree immersive Remembrance experience within our i-Platform. Running in bookable 30-minute sessions from until Friday, the experience allows visitors to listen to veterans’ stories and take time to reflect on their service and sacrifice.
Both activities provide us with a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and express our gratitude as a college. We are proud of how our students and staff continue to honour this important day with dignity and respect.
