Oaklands Wolves are delighted to confirm the return of Danielle McCray for the 2025/26 SLB season.
One of the league’s top performers, McCray was a central figure in last year’s historic Wolves campaign, helping guide the Hertfordshire side to silverware. The 6’1 forward delivered one of the most consistent seasons in the SLB, averaging 12.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Beyond the stats, her leadership and big-game impact made her an invaluable presence for the Wolfpack.
A graduate of Mississippi, McCray brings extensive international experience and versatility. Returning to Oaklands, she is determined to build on last year’s success and push the Wolves even further in 2025/26.
Head Coach Ryan welcomed the signing:
“We have another great mix in this season’s team. Dani is a huge re-signing for us and, together with Shanice, Beth, and Lavinia, gives us that leadership and experience needed to compete at the top. We’ve added more experience this summer and, when blended with our talented youth from the academy, it makes for another exciting season ahead for the Wolfpack.”
Fans can see McCray and her teammates back in action at the home opener on Sunday 28th September, 6pm at Oaklands College Sports Zone.
