Barbering Students Offer Free Haircuts at Howard Centre

Our Barbering students have been providing free haircuts at the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City and are continuing this initiative every Friday from 1:30pm to 5pm until the end of May.

The pop-up barbering service offers a fantastic opportunity for the local community to receive a professional haircut at no cost, and provides the students hands-on experience while giving back to the community, honing their skills in a real-world setting.

Recently, Councillor Frank Marsh, the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield Borough, visited the pop-up to show his support for the students and the initiative. He even took the opportunity to sit in the chair himself, receiving a haircut from one of the talented learners.

The Howard Centre has become a great location for this collaboration, providing a welcoming space for students to demonstrate their growing skills and for the public to enjoy the benefits. Everyone is encouraged to drop by every Friday and take advantage of the free service while supporting the next generation of barbers.
