Oaklands College is set to welcome families and music fans alike for an unforgettable day of entertainment this Saturday, with two major events taking place at its St Albans Campus.
The excitement begins with the Open Air Interactive Dinosaur Show – a dynamic and educational experience designed to capture the imaginations of young dinosaur enthusiasts. This immersive show features life-sized dinosaurs, fossil digs, and a range of engaging prehistoric-themed activities, all set in the college’s scenic outdoor grounds.
As evening falls, the campus transforms for A Tribute to ABBA: Mamma Mia! The Movie Open Air Cinema. The event begins with a screening of the beloved musical Mamma Mia!, followed by a live ABBA tribute band performing the Swedish supergroup’s greatest hits. With themed cocktails, street food, and plenty of feel-good energy, it’s set to be the ultimate summer celebration.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing both events to campus this weekend,” said the college’s Event Manager. “The Open Air Interactive Dinosaur Show is always a huge hit with families, and our ABBA tribute night promises to be a fantastic evening of music, dancing, and summer vibes. There really is something for everyone.”
Both events are part of Oaklands College’s growing programme of public events, designed to bring families and local residents together for fun, learning, and celebration.
