Oaklands Training & Development Announces 2026 Apprenticeship & Workforce Skills Summit

Oaklands Training & Development Announces 2026 Apprenticeship & Workforce Skills Summit

Oaklands Training & Development is gearing up to welcome employers, HR leaders, and talent development professionals to the 2026 Apprenticeship & Workforce Skills Summit, building on the strong momentum of last year’s Employer Training & Skills Summit. The event will once again take place during National Apprenticeship Week, offering a timely look at how organisations can strengthen their workforce through apprenticeships and adult skills programmes.

This year’s summit will spotlight the evolving apprenticeship landscape, along with the broader range of adult learning and workforce development routes available to employers. With industries across the UK continuing to face skills shortages, the event aims to equip businesses with practical insights, future-focused guidance, and clear pathways to developing talent from within.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to book into two exclusive breakout sessions, both designed to give employers deeper understanding and actionable strategies:

Breakout Session 1: Apprenticeships Update

A comprehensive look at the latest apprenticeship developments, including new Foundation Apprenticeships, policy updates, and emerging opportunities for staff development and retention. This session is ideal for employers looking to refresh or expand their apprenticeship approach.

Breakout Session 2: Adult Skills & Training Pathways

An overview of the adult learning routes that can support workforce growth — from Skills Bootcamps to Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) and other upskilling options. Attendees will gain clarity on which pathways could best meet their business needs.

With workforce capability and skills planning becoming increasingly critical to business success in 2026, the summit promises to be a valuable event for any employer preparing for the future.
