Oaklands Wolves Add Size and Shooting with Forward Signing

Oaklands Wolves Add Size and Shooting with Forward Signing

Oaklands Wolves are delighted to announce the addition of 6’6 forward Alvin Fleming to the roster ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Fleming, who previously represented West Herts Warriors and Essex Rebels, brings a strong combination of size, strength, and versatility to the Wolves’ frontcourt. Known for being a physical presence on both ends of the floor, he also adds a valuable outside shooting threat, making him a tough matchup for opponents.

Head Coach Liam Jefferson expressed his excitement about finally bringing Fleming into the programme:

“Alvin is a player that I have tried to recruit on two occasions at previous clubs and I’m delighted to finally have him on our roster. He is a young player capable of impacting the game at both ends of the floor and is a physical presence at the forward position. He’s worked hard to develop his craft over the last few years, becoming a threat on the offensive end and extending his shooting range. I’m excited to add Alvin to our growing young core.”

At just 23 years old, Fleming represents part of the Wolves’ strategy of building around emerging British talent. His arrival strengthens the team’s options in the paint while adding further floor-spacing ability, complementing the Wolves’ dynamic playing style heading into the new season.
