Oaklands Wolves have secured another key piece of their roster for the 2025/26 SLB season with the return of Beth Sarson.
The Hertfordshire-born guard, an Oaklands College alumni, is no stranger to Wolves fans, having established herself as one of the club’s most reliable and popular players over the years. Standing at 5’7, Sarson heads into her eighth season in the top flight, having worn Wolves colours in all but one of her professional campaigns.
Last season proved to be the most successful of her career to date. Sarson was a central figure in a Wolves side that made history by reaching every major final, eventually lifting both the league title and cup in an unforgettable campaign. Her composure, experience, and leadership on the floor were vital to the team’s success, and her return provides a major boost to the Wolves’ ambitions of once again competing at the very top.
Reflecting on her decision to stay with Oaklands, Sarson said:
“I’m looking forward to return to Oaklands for another season. With a strong group of returners and exciting new signings, we’re aiming to make more history together and continue to push this program forward.”
With Sarson committing her future to the club, Wolves fans can expect to see the same grit, determination, and energy that have made her such a favourite on and off the court. Her presence will be crucial as the franchise continues to grow its reputation as one of the league’s most competitive and exciting teams.
The Wolves have promised more roster news over the coming days, with further signings set to be unveiled this weekend across the team’s social media platforms.
