Oaklands Wolves are excited to announce our newest sponsor, SIAS. This partnership with SIAS marks a significant step forward for our engineering apprenticeships. Previously, our programmes relied on endpoint assessment alone, which did not fully support the apprentice’s complete journey. By working with SIAS, we are now able to offer a start to finish approach that supports apprentices from entry through to completion.
SIAS is a STEM focused Awarding and Assessment Organisation with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and responsiveness. Their culture closely aligns with our own, placing apprentices at the heart of everything they do and providing support at every stage of the apprenticeship journey. SIAS continually reviews and develops its engineering provision to ensure it remains fully aligned with government requirements and real industry needs, creating a stronger, more cohesive experience for apprentices, employers and training providers alike.
Chloe Hawkins, Director of Adult & WorkBased Training, said:
“SIAS is a highly respected Awarding and Assessment Organisation and we’re delighted to be working with them as the EPAO for our engineering apprentices. This partnership strengthens the quality and credibility of our apprenticeship programmes and ensures apprentices experience a rigorous, supportive, and industryrelevant end point assessment.
For employers, it provides confidence that the EPA is delivered independently, fairly, and consistently aligned with real industry expectations. For apprentices, it means clear guidance, a professional assessment experience, and a strong platform for progression.
Together, we are focused on quality, timely achievement, and ensuring every apprentice is fully prepared to perform and succeed in the workplace, so that successful completion reflects genuine occupational competencies.”
SIAS demonstrates excellence within the sector, winning SME End Point Assessment Organisation of the Year in 2024. This recognition reflects their commitment to delivering high quality, industry relevant assessment and reinforces the strength of this partnership.

'We are delighted to be partnering with SIAS - as a fast growing, innovative and exciting organisation we share the same ethos, values and excitement for shaping the FE sector. We are delighted to announce them as a Wolves sponsor - Welcome to the Wolf Pack’
Steve Smith, Managing Director of SIAS “This partnership with Oaklands College is exactly what SIAS stands for – challenging convention and putting learners first. Too often, apprenticeship assessment has been treated as a standalone moment, rather than part of a wider journey. By working collaboratively with Oaklands, we’re creating a more connected, supportive, and industry-relevant experience that truly prepares apprentices for success in the workplace and beyond. Becoming part of the Wolves community reinforces our belief in teamwork, ambition, and high performance – values that sit at the heart of everything we do.”
