In a remarkable show of determination and compassion, Art, Fashion, and Design students packed an astounding 1,298 boxes during their 25-hour 'Packathon' in partnership with Goods for Good. The event, which blended creativity with a powerful sense of global responsibility, saw students work tirelessly to prepare essential supplies destined for Sierra Leone and Ukraine.
Held over an intense day and night, the Packathon transformed the student lounge into packing stations. Students, many working in shifts or choosing to stay for the full duration, demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and heart—qualities as vital as their design skills.
The initiative marks a meaningful intersection of education and activism. Every box packed represents not just supplies, but a message of solidarity and hope to communities facing hardship. In addition to the packing efforts, an impressive £798 was raised to support the cause, further amplifying the impact of the students’ work.
A heartfelt congratulations to the enrichment team and all participating students for their outstanding efforts!
