Teresa Da Silva Returns to the UK with Oaklands Wolves

Teresa Da Silva Returns to the UK with Oaklands Wolves

Oaklands Wolves are delighted to confirm the signing of Teresa Da Silva for the 2025/26 SLB season.

The 5’8 British guard makes her return to the UK after six years away, having left for US college basketball in 2019. During her senior year at Tarleton State University, Da Silva averaged 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, showcasing her versatility and all-round game.

Since graduating, she has gained valuable professional experience in Europe, spending her first season with clubs in Iceland and Romania. Most recently with CSM CSU Constanța, Da Silva posted averages of 7.7 points, 5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, underlining her ability to contribute across multiple facets of play.

Speaking on her return to home shores, the London native said:
“I’m back home!! It feels great to come back and I can’t wait to play in front of home crowds, friends, and family. It’s going to be a great season!”

Head Coach Ryan is excited to add another British talent to the Wolves roster:
“It’s always great to see a young British player make the jump to the professional ranks. Teresa has great versatility in her game – a strong, direct guard who can cause teams problems at both guard positions. We’re excited about having her return to the SLB with us.”

Da Silva’s arrival adds depth and experience to Oaklands’ backcourt as the Wolves prepare for another competitive campaign in the SLB.
