Oaklands Wolves Alumni Help Saracens Women Lift the PWR Cup

It was a thrilling clash at StoneX Stadium earlier this season as Saracens Women battled Harlequins for the PWR Cup, formerly known as the Allianz Cup.

Saracens were first to open the scoring, but Harlequins quickly hit back, setting the tone for a fiercely competitive cup final. By halftime, Saracens held a narrow 19 – 12 lead, but Quins refused to back down and came out strong after the break with yet another quick response.

Both teams fought hard in a tense, end-to-end contest that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Among the standout performances was Oaklands Wolves alumna Amelia MacDougall, who played a crucial role. Despite a shaky warm-up, MacDougall stayed composed under pressure, sticking to her routine and delivering when it mattered most, converting five of six kicks to give Saracens the edge and secure their victory.
