The trial will run from 1pm - 4pm. The trial will include presentations from our coaching staff, on court player assessment, Q&A with the Head of Basketball and a tour of the facilities.

1pm: Arrival and Registration

1.15pm-1.45pm: Basketball Presentation

1.45pm-3.45pm: On Court Player Assessment by Coaching Staff and parent Q&A with Head of Basketball

3.45pm-4pm: Facility Tour of S&C facilities

Departure

Oaklands College Basketball Academy is nationally recognised as one of the best male & female player development centres in the country (Basketball England accredited England Development Programme delivering the Diploma in Sporting Excellence - DiSE) and we have specialist staff and facilities to help you progress on to the next level. 

We offer competitive competitions for every academy squad during the College week and also weekend club opportunities to ensure our student athletes get the game time to make progress.

The basketball programme is timetabled to work alongside your academic studies (Sports courses, Business courses, A Levels or vocational courses) and is focused on developing your individual ability to maximise your basketball potential.

After the Trials we will follow up with every attendee with a letter outlining the outcome and if successful we will tell you which squad we are initially inviting you into.
