Karate Open Competition

Join us for the Oaklands Wolves Karate Open 2026, a premier karate open competition taking place on 13–14 June 2026 at Sport Zone, Oaklands College, St Albans. This exciting two‑day event brings together talented karate athletes from across the region for a professionally run and action‑packed tournament.

The competition will run across three dedicated tatami areas throughout the weekend, featuring Novice and Advanced Kata and Kumite divisions. Categories are available for a wide range of ages, heights and weight classes, welcoming competitors from 7 years old through to 18+.

With over 90 divisions scheduled across the two days, spectators and participants can look forward to:

High‑energy kata and kumite matches
Advanced finals and medal presentations
A special mixed team exhibition event
A supportive and competitive atmosphere for all experience levels

Whether you are competing, coaching, officiating or supporting, the Oaklands Wolves Karate Open is a must‑attend event on the UK karate competition calendar, celebrating discipline, skill and sportsmanship.
