About the course

On this short course you will learn to make a range of products every week covering the history and science behind them. Each week a some sweet treats will also be made. The products will be a mixture of desserts, from a variety of cultures and countries. The skills and methods will be developed throughout with the intention to build a centrepiece dessert.

Career options

This course could lead you to enter self-employment with pastry making skills. It could also support your progression to further education or training.

Successful completion of our Hospitality & Catering courses can lead you onto a higher level course, university or even into employment.
