Jake Awe - Head of Athletics

Jake has been coaching at Oakland since 2018.

Coached individual athletes at Multiple European and World Junior Championships. Including a Euro u18 title and record in sprint hurdles. 

Great Britain junior relay coach at Word and European championships, winning medals in both men and women's 4x100m and 4x400m.

Qualified in Sports Studies with a first class degree in Coaching. 

Fun fact: Jake has coached athletes to international vests in 6 different events (100m/200m/400m/Sprint Hurdles, Long Jump and High Jump).
