The annual Oaklands Barber Battle took place last Thursday, bringing together our talented barbering students for an exciting evening of creativity, skill and competition.
The event showcased the incredible talent, professionalism and creativity of our students, with participants putting their barbering skills to the test and producing an outstanding standard of work.
All students who took part received an End-of-Year Certificate and Participation Award in recognition of their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the event.
Adding valuable industry insight to the competition, students were judged by two successful Oaklands alumni who have gone on to establish careers in the barbering industry: Riley from RC Cuts and Mo, better known as Mo the Clipper King.
Their industry experience and expertise provided students with valuable feedback and guidance, while their career journeys offered inspiration to the next generation of barbers.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to demonstrate the skills they have developed during their studies, gain feedback from industry professionals and celebrate their achievements alongside their peers.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and helped make this year’s Oaklands Barber Battle such a success. We are incredibly proud of the dedication, skill and passion demonstrated by all our barbering students.
