Oaklands College Inspires Future Students at Sandringham School’s You’re Hired Day

Departments from across Oaklands College were delighted to attend Sandringham School’s You’re Hired Day, engaging with around 240 students to support them in exploring their post-16 education options.

Throughout the day, students participated in a range of interactive and hands-on sessions delivered by Oaklands colleagues from across the College. Curriculum areas represented included Apprenticeships, Virtual Reality (VR), Marketing, Animal Management, Wolves Academies, Hair & Beauty, Fashion, and the Oaklands Wolves Women’s Professional Basketball Team.

These engaging activities gave students valuable insight into the diverse pathways available at Oaklands College, helping them to better understand the opportunities on offer and make informed decisions about their future education and career routes.

Outreach events such as this play an important role in inspiring young people, strengthening partnerships with local schools, and ensuring students are supported as they consider their next steps.

Oaklands College would like to thank Sandringham School for the warm welcome, as well as all colleagues involved for helping to make the day such a success.
