Students Celebrate Completing 8-Week Sports Leadership Course

Students from across Waves, Shores, Focus and Foundation Classes have successfully completed an exciting eight-week sports leadership and coaching course delivered by Apex 360.

The programme brought together students with a range of learning difficulties, providing them with the opportunity to develop their confidence, communication, teamwork and leadership skills through sport.

Throughout the eight weeks, students showed tremendous commitment, enthusiasm and determination as they embraced new challenges, developed new skills and supported one another.

As well as developing valuable skills, the programme provided plenty of opportunities for students to have fun, build friendships and connect with peers from different classes. Their willingness to try new activities and step outside their comfort zones helped make the course a huge success.

A huge well done to every student who took part for their hard work and dedication throughout the programme.

We would also like to thank Tom and Lewis from Apex 360 for delivering such an enjoyable and inspiring experience, as well as the staff who attended each session and provided invaluable support and encouragement to students throughout the course.

The programme is a fantastic example of how sport can help students build confidence, develop essential life skills and form positive connections with others.
