Celebrating Strong National Results at Oaklands

Achievement rates continue to rise

We are pleased to share some excellent news about the continued success of the College, following the publication of the Department for Education’s 2024/25 National Achievement Rate Tables.

These national benchmarks highlight the strong progress being made across the further education sector, and we are delighted to confirm that Oaklands continues on a very positive upward trajectory.

Our overall national ranking has risen to joint 14th - an exceptional improvement of 30 places compared with last year.

Our 16–18 provision continues to perform exceptionally well. Achievement rates have improved again this year, and we are now ranked joint 7th nationally for this age group, rising seven places year-on-year.

We are equally proud of the progress made by our adult learners. Achievement rates have increased significantly, resulting in a rise of 31 places to joint 48th nationally.

These results reflect the hard work of staff across the College and the support you provide to your young people. Together, we are building on our success and continuing to raise standards across Oaklands.

Thank you for your continued support.
