GCSE Maths grade 9 - 4 and GCSE English grade 9 - 4. You should be employed, or have an employer willing to sponsor you. Applications are assessed on a case by case basis.

About the course

The Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship includes 7 specialist supervisory routes, allowing apprentices to develop expertise in a particular area of the hospitality industry: Food and Beverage Supervisor:Supervising restaurants, caf's, banqueting, conferences and catering services. Bar Supervisor:Overseeing bar operations in pubs, hotels, restaurants, clubs and resorts. Housekeeping Supervisor:Supervising housekeeping teams in hotels and accommodation settings. Concierge Supervisor:Managing porter and concierge services. Supporting guests with travel, local information, luggage and customer requests. Front Office Supervisor:Leading front-of-house and reception operations. Events Supervisor:Coordinating hospitality events, conferences, meetings and functions. Hospitality Outlet Supervisor:Supervising hospitality outlets such as restaurants, caf's, retail food outlets and leisure venues.

Career options

Full-time employment. Upon completion, you can also progress to a higher level apprenticeship or qualification.

Career progression is excellent for apprentices, and over the course of their careers, those with an Apprenticeship earn on average, £100,000 more than those without. (A Cost-Benefit Analysis of Apprenticeships and Other Vocational Qualifications, University of Sheffield, 2007)

Hospitality Supervisors play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences across a wide range of settings, including: Restaurants and caf's Bars and pubs Hotels and resorts Conference and event venues Banqueting operations Contract catering and food service businesses As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will learn how to lead and motivate teams, manage day-to-day operations, maintain high service standards, and ensure customers receive an outstanding experience. You will develop the confidence to supervise shifts independently, solve problems effectively, and support business performance in busy and demanding environments.
