About the course

Build on your existing Spanish skills and gain the confidence to communicate with greater accuracy and fluency. Following a post-GCSE syllabus, this course will help you develop a deeper understanding of the language through the study and application of more advanced grammatical structures. You will learn how to recognise, compare and use a wide range of language features, including the present and imperfect tenses, subordinate clauses, relative and demonstrative pronouns, comparative and superlative forms, the subjunctive, infinitive constructions, imperatives and conditional sentences. You will also develop your ability to identify and express opinions, understand more complex written texts, and respond confidently to spoken Spanish on a variety of familiar and less familiar topics. We will explore engaging themes such as: The Arts and Culture , Daily Life and Contemporary Society, Sports and Leisure Activities and Travel and Touris. A supportive and interactive learning environment, with opportunities to practise speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Learners will also have the chance to discuss and negotiate aspects of the course content with the tutor, helping to tailor the programme to their interests and learning goals. Whether you are looking to progress to a higher level of study, enhance your career prospects, or simply enjoy communicating more confidently in Spanish.
