About the course

NEW for 25/26 whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or looking to refine your existing skills, this friendly and inspiring watercolour course offers the perfect creative escape. Discover a wide range of watercolour techniques, including colour mixing, washes, texture, layering and composition, while creating beautiful artwork inspired by nature, landscapes, botanicals, still life and storytelling. With step-by-step guidance from an experienced tutor, plenty of encouragement and the opportunity to learn alongside like-minded artists, you'll gain confidence in your abilities, develop your own unique artistic style and unlock your creative potential. Enjoy the relaxing, mindful process of painting while producing artwork you'll be proud to take home and share. Please bring a basic watercolour kit, including paints, brushes, a palette, water container and an A3 watercolour pad. A simple starter set is perfectly suitable for beginners. The tutor will also discuss different types of watercolour equipment and materials during the course, offering guidance on choosing supplies to suit your experience level, style and budget.
