Teacher Training

Teacher training at Oaklands

At Oaklands College, our Teacher Training programmes are designed to support aspiring and current educators at every stage of their journey. We offer Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications, providing clear progression routes whether you are just starting out in education or looking to develop your existing practice.

Our courses combine practical teaching experience with expert-led sessions, helping you build confidence in lesson planning, delivery, and classroom management. With a strong focus on real-world application, you will gain the skills needed to succeed in further education, training, or workplace learning environments.

Delivered in small class sizes, our programmes ensure personalised support and regular feedback from experienced tutors, creating a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Whether you are exploring a new career in teaching or enhancing your current role, Oaklands provides a structured, accessible, and industry-relevant pathway into education.

What Happens After Teacher Training?

Completing your Teacher Training qualification opens the door to a range of opportunities within education and training. Depending on your chosen level, you can progress into roles such as a further education lecturer, trainer, assessor, or workplace learning facilitator.

For those starting at Level 3 or Level 4, progression to a higher-level qualification (such as Level 5) is a natural next step, allowing you to deepen your knowledge and expand your teaching responsibilities. Many learners go on to secure teaching roles within colleges, independent training providers, or industry settings, using their subject expertise to support the next generation of learners.

The qualifications also support career development for those already working in education who are looking to formalise their experience or move into more advanced roles.

At Oaklands, we continue to support you beyond the classroom, helping you take the next step into employment or further study with confidence.
