University Campus St Albans (UCSA)

University Campus St Albans (UCSA) is a joint venture between the University of Hertfordshire and Oaklands College. This is an innovative collaboration to enable people at work seeking a change of direction or to progress their careers further. UCSA is focussed on developing the skills that employers need for the future.

Your Studies

All degrees are developed in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire. UCSA has created innovative pathways for people with experience to gain academic recognition for this and accelerate their studies in quite unique ways.

All courses are delivered part-time, normally over weekends, day or block release. Students are usually in employment, and most have been out of education for a long time.

UCSA also works with employer groups in three core areas – construction, engineering and business – to identify future skills needs and ensure the courses delivered can meet these needs.

The Teaching

We know you’re looking for a enjoyable course and a great place to study but we also know the importance of having quality support to help you through your academic journey into work or higher education.

Our classes are small to allow each student to experience our high quality teaching. Our tutors are all on hand to offer help, advice and practical guidance on every aspect of your time at Oaklands.

Our tutors all strive to do to ensure your time with them is as valuable, rewarding and personal as possible.
