Performing Arts Courses in Hertfordshire

Our Performing Arts Department helps to harness your talent, determination and energy whether you want to act, sing or dance we will help you grow as a performer with our experienced and professional team that have all worked extensively in the world of performance.

Our Performing Arts qualification opens you up to an array of opportunities. In recent years students have progressed onto prestigious drama schools such as Mountview Academy, and onto study different courses at a wide range of universities, such as, Media production at Bournemouth, script writing at the University of Hertfordshire, and music production at Leeds

We can help you grow the vital attributes needed to succeed in today’s increasingly competitive industry.

All of our full time programmes include opportunities to support and enhance your learning so that you can achieve your goals and ambitions. Students enrol on a Study Programme which individualises their education whilst enhancing their employability skills. A Study Programme is made up of four key elements which include a main vocational qualification, the development of English and maths through the study of GCSE’s or Functional Skills, Work-related learning through work experience and Personal Development Reviews.

Level 1 Diploma in Music, Performing & Production Arts (UAL)

The Level 1 Diploma in Music, Performing & Production Arts has been designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to further study and training in a range of music performance and production disciplines.

Level 2 Diploma in Performing and Production Arts (UAL)

This course provides a wide-ranging opportunity to begin to develop and expand your skills in the performing arts. Across a packed year and seven units you will study acting, dance and singing and make use of the skills you develop in a series of exciting public performances. You will work from scripts and may also devise some of your performances. The course is an exciting journey fusing song, dance, acting and your imagination in a celebration of your potential and the diversity of talent in your company.

Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts

This course provides a wide-ranging opportunity to apply and expand your skills in the performing arts. You will work from scripts as well as devising your own performances. The course is an exciting journey fusing song, dance, acting and your imagination in a celebration of your potential and the diversity of talent in your company.
