Last week, Oaklands College welcomed 150 students and staff to its School Explorer event at the St Albans Campus, giving prospective learners a first-hand look at college life.
We were delighted to host students from Townsend, Onslow St Audrey’s, Sir John Lawes, Marlborough, Hertswood Academy, Stanborough, JFK, Ridgeway Academy, and The Hemel Hempstead School.
The day began with an engaging introductory presentation, followed by a guided campus tour, giving students insight into the facilities, environment, and opportunities available at Oaklands.
Students then had the chance to explore a wide range of curriculum areas, meet tutors, and experience what studying at Oaklands is really like.
Curriculum areas visited included:

A huge thank you to all curriculum teams and staff who showcased our facilities and inspired future learners, making the event a memorable experience for all attendees.
