Oaklands College Wins Sustainability & ESG Award at the Hertfordshire Business Awards 2025

Oaklands College is thrilled to announce that we have won the Sustainability & ESG Award at the biz4Biz Hertfordshire Business Awards 2025.

This recognition is a significant achievement for our innovative and environmentally conscious Construction Centre, reflecting the dedication, collaboration, and forward-thinking vision that brought this project to life. The award celebrates the College’s commitment to sustainable development, modern skills training, and delivering facilities that support both our students and the wider community.

Most recently, our Centre hosted the 10-year anniversary Sustainable St Albans event, where our Travel & Tourism students led VIP and community tours of the Construction Centre, showcasing its eco-friendly features and demonstrating how sustainability is embedded across our curriculum.

We extend our sincere thanks to our project partners R G Carter, Fusion Project Management, and dla architecture. Their expertise, guidance, and shared commitment to sustainability were instrumental in achieving this success.

We also thank Adrian Hawkins OBE and the entire biz4Biz team for hosting a fantastic evening and for recognising the impactful work happening at Oaklands College.
