What You Can Expect

Our open events allow you to explore our campus facilities and meet with our tutors, support teams, and principal to discuss any questions related to courses or college. You can also apply for your chosen course(s) at our campus.

Don't worry, you can apply on the day and make your decision later, whether you want to proceed with your choice or change your course at a later date.

We want you to have the freedom to study the course that feels right for you. Our careers and advice team will also be present at our open events to assist you in making a decision.

Hear from a student

"Before I visited, I was curious and excited to learn more about the college—and the open event exceeded all my expectations. I got to explore the campus, meet some of the lecturers, and even chat with current students who were very honest and helpful. It gave me a real sense of what life at the college is like. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it just felt like the right fit for me. If you're even slightly considering it, definitely go to an open event—you’ll walk away feeling confident about your future."

- Josh Cook, Level 3 Business Alumni

Choose your pathway:

Our open events enable you to meet our curriculum tutors, ask those all-important questions, and check out our amazing campus facilities at St Albans and Welwyn Garden City.

Did you know Oaklands College also offers university-level courses? We can help you secure a higher qualification in the course of your choice. Our open events provide the opportunity to find out more about our higher-level courses and check out our facilities in person.
