About the course

Designed for learners who have completed the Beginners course (20 hours) or have equivalent knowledge, this face-to-face improvers course will help you build on your existing language skills and communicate with greater confidence and accuracy in a wider range of everyday situations. Lessons are delivered primarily in the target language, encouraging continued immersion and helping you develop your speaking and listening skills in a supportive and interactive environment. Through individual, pair and small-group activities, you will expand your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and become more confident in holding longer conversations. Classroom learning provides immediate feedback from an experienced tutor, guided practice, and valuable opportunities to interact with fellow learners, supporting progress and greater fluency. You will develop your ability to understand and use language in familiar situations, ask and answer a broader range of questions, express opinions, describe experiences, and manage everyday interactions with increasing independence. Whether you're learning for travel, work, or personal enrichment, this course will help you strengthen your practical communication skills and use the language with increased confidence in real-life situations.

Continue to develop your speaking and listening skills by enrolling on Italian Improvers Continuation (8 week course).
