Enrolment Information

With enrolment just around the corner, here’s everything you need to know about when to attend, what to expect and key term dates.

If you have already applied to the College, you will receive an enrolment invitation based on your subject area, with a set date and time for you to attend.

Full details will be sent to you by email ahead of your session.

If you haven’t yet applied, don’t worry! We’re welcoming drop-in applicants throughout the enrolment period.

Term officially starts on Wednesday 2nd of September, so it’s important to complete your enrolment before this date to secure your place.

GCSE Results Day

Thursday 20 August | 9am - 4pm 

Drop-in day for anyone who has not yet applied and would like to join us after receiving their GCSE results.

Engineering, Construction & A Levels

Friday 21 August 

For invited applicants in:
Engineering, Construction Management, Trowel Trades, Motor Vehicle, Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Carpentry & Joinery and A Levels.

Appointments run between 9:00am–4:00pm.

Business, Creative & Care

Monday 24 August 

For invited applicants in:
Business, Sport, Public Services, Hair, Beauty & Barbering, Travel & Tourism, Computing & IT, Applied Science, Health & Social Care, Early Years, Music, Art, Fashion & Design, Media, Film & TV and Performing Arts.

Appointments run between 9:00am–6:30pm.

Hospitality, Animal & Equine & Higher Skills

Tuesday 25 August 

For invited applicants in:
Hospitality & Catering, Animal Management and Equine Studies. 

Also, Higher Skills (Level 4 and 5) enrolments. 

Appointments run between 9:00am–4:00pm.

Mop-Up Enrolment

Wednesday 26 – Friday 28 August
9am–4pm (until 6:30pm on Wednesday)

If you haven’t enrolled yet, you can attend on any of these days.

Enrolment FAQs

If you've not met your offer conditions when you receive your exam results, or exceeded them, don't worry! Please still come in and see us to discuss alternative course options.

  • Your GCSE results (or most recent results)
  • Proof of ID (passport, driving licence or similar)
  • Any certificates or qualifications relevant to your course
  • Payment method (if applicable for course costs)
  • Please attend the campus where your course will be delivered.
  • Your enrolment invitation email will confirm your campus, arrival time and where you need to go on the day.
  • If you’re unsure, our staff will be on hand to direct you when you arrive.

Timetables vary by course and qualification type. You will be able to view your timetable via the 'My Oaklands' app once you have enrolled. Download the 'My Oaklands' app at:

At this stage you'll be downloading the public version of the app. You'll receive your login details at enrolment, unlocking additional features including your personalised timetable, college information and other student services.
