Overview
Construction management is the strategic oversight and coordination of all elements involved in a construction project, from initial planning to final completion. It entails managing resources, schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure the project is executed efficiently and according to specified quality standards. Construction managers play a vital role in facilitating communication among stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring the overall success of the project.
The continuing growth of the construction industry in order to meet local and global demand has resulted in additional requirements for higher-qualified personnel who can deliver sustainable projects in the most cost-effective way. The HTQ is mapped to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Educations Occupational Standards and professional body standards with the aim of providing professional status Level 5 HND and progression to direct employment, upon successful completion of this course. The vendor-accredited certification indicates that the course meets industry standards and prepares students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to enter the workforce. Additionally, obtaining a vendor-accredited certification can demonstrate to employers that a student has achieved a certain level of expertise and competence in a particular area.
This Course will

What Next?
On successful completion of this course, students may progress to University meeting the entry criteria of the institution. Students may also move into higher roles or positions within their organisation or wish to develop their career further by moving into other employment.
Successful completion of the Extended Diploma in Construction can lead to progression on to the HNC in Construction or other Higher Education courses or alternatively into employment within the construction and property industry.

For all two year courses fees shown above are per year.
Aged 19+ and planning to take a level 3 or above a different fee may apply. You may be eligible for an Advanced Learning Loan.
All HE courses (full and part time) are subject to tuition fees.
