This page provides information on formal examinations so please read the following carefully.

Results Day - Thursday 22nd August 2024

PLEASE NOTE: All results will be emailed to students from 8:00 am on Thursday 22nd August 2024 to student’s email addresses listed on the student record system.

Please check your junk or spam folder if you do not see your results in your inbox. Additionally, please be patient, as results may not arrive exactly at 8:00 am.

On the 22nd August results for the following qualifications will be released:

  • GCSE Maths, English Language and Biology
  • BTEC Level 2 qualifications

We will also be receiving results for the following courses but these will be available to collect in person from 8 am until midday in Sapsed Room, Mansion House.  These courses are:

  • City and Guilds Level 2 Technicals – Animal Care, Equine, Plumbing and Electrical

If a student is unable to collect the Level 2 Technical qualifications in person then they will be sent out in the post on the same day.

What do I bring with me?

    ALL NECESSARY EQUIPMENT FOR THE EXAM - e.g. a black pen, pencil, calculator (no stored information or lids allowed), protractor. The college does not supply these.

    A CLEAR PENCIL CASE/GLASSES CASE – No writing allowed.

    STAY SEATED – Stay seated and use your full exam time.

When is my exam?
  • For on-line exams your tutor will inform you.
  • For nationally-set exams like GCSEs and A Levels you’ll receive an exam timetable in the post.
  • You will receive  copies of the  regulations in the post, or via your teacher.

What you need to do

    ARRIVE EARLY - Arrive at least 15 minutes before the exam start time

    LISTEN - Listen to, and act upon, the invigilator’s instructions

    BE QUIET – Be silent when you enter the room and behave in line with the college’s code of conduct at all times.

    PHOTO ID - Please remember to bring your photo ID. You may not be able to take your exam without it.

What happens if...

1. Notes and unauthorised materials will be confiscated.

1. Report to Reception or Exams Office and ask to be supervised.

 2. If you are very late you may not be able to sit the exam.

 3.  If you are allowed to sit the exam you may be warned that your paper may not be marked by the awarding body.

2.  Inform the Exams Department of your circumstances.

  • You’ll receive an email from the Exams Department confirming the approved arrangements.
  •  If you’ve not received an email there will be no arrangements  in place.
