Leah speaks to Oaklands College on the morning of A Level Results Day 2019, read all about her reaction to receiving an A and B in Media Studies and Sociology.

Course: A Levels in Sociology and Media StudiesÂ
Leah surprised even herself this A Level Results Day 2019, vastly improving her A Level grades from last year with an A in Sociology and a B in Media Studies.
Leah, who achieved a C last year in Sociology, was overjoyed to have achieved an A saying: “It’s a great feeling, I came to Oaklands College to further improve my grades and gain enough UCAS points to eventually go to University to study Sociology.”
“My teachers, Denise Tinant and Karina Lawrence went above and beyond during my time at Oaklands College, they really helped me and my classmates to achieve the best grades that we could and I have a lot to thank them for!”
Leah is now deciding whether to pursue her University offer or put her skills and knowledge into practise by entering the World of employment to embark on a career as an counsellor.
