A Rising Star Shines Bright in the Electrical Industry

Mazin Osman, one of our exceptional students at Oaklands College, was recently honoured at the 30 Under 30 Awards 2023 by the Luceco Group, which was a proud moment for our college community. This recognition was a testament to Mazin’s unwavering commitment, passion, and dedication to the electrical industry.

The 30 Under 30 awards aim to celebrate and acknowledge the up-and-coming talents in the electrical industry. The competition was fierce, with many talented individuals vying for a spot on the coveted list of 30 winners. The judging panel, consisting of industry experts, had the challenging task of selecting the most promising talents from among the nominees.
On Thursday 30th March, during a grand online awards ceremony, the winners were announced. It was a moment of immense pride for everyone at Oaklands College when Mazin’s name was called out as one of the deserving winners.

Mazin’s remarkable journey is truly inspirational, as he courageously took on the challenge of juggling three demanding courses, ESOL, Maths and Electrical Installation. As an ESOL student, he dedicated himself to mastering the English language while also nurturing his passion for the electrical industry. Despite the considerable obstacles in his path, Mazin’s unwavering determination and tireless effort ultimately led to his well-deserved success.

His contribution includes launching initiatives in renewable energy and electric vehicle charging businesses, demonstrating his forward-thinking approach. Mazin’s dedication to his craft and his commitment to shaping the future of the electrical industry are commendable.
