Athletic Students win Gold and Silver
Jessica Barber, Martina Barber and Laura Farrar win Gold and Silver medals at the Hertfordshire County Indoor Athletics Championships
Congratulations to Jessica Barber, Martina Barber and Laura Farrar who won Gold and Silver medals at the Hertfordshire County Indoor Athletics Championships on Sunday 4 March.
Jessica achieved Gold in the Senior Women’s 400m, setting a new personal best and moving into the top 50 national rankings.
Laura Farrar won Gold in both the 800m and 1500m races. She now ranks 27th in the 800m and 10th in the 1500m national standings.
Martina Barber, who will be representing the GBteam in the World Mencap Indoor Games this month, took Gold in the Long Jump and Silver in the Shot put, very promising leading up to her first international representation.
