Countdown to Twickenham begins

With two days to go, Oaklands College rugby team are busy preparing for the AASE League Grand Final at Twickenham.

Playing against Hartpury, who have just lost their number eight and team captain due to injury, Oaklands College reached the final after beating London Irish in the semi-finals earlier this month.

The competition is likely to be tough but the Oaklands team have been training long and hard for this moment.

Dave Hesketh, Rugby Programme Manager, comments: “The team have trained really hard over the bank holiday and we’ve taken them to Twickenham so they know what it’s like to be there on the pitch side. Preparation has gone well and the mood is nervous but excited!”
