Oaklands hosts successful National Apprenticeship and National Training Awards evening

Awards designed to reward achievements of apprentices and businesses

Last night the College hosted the National Apprenticeship and National Training Awards at the Welwyn Garden City Campus.

The evening was an opportunity to honour and recognise the benefits of Apprenticeships among the business community. Central Division Director Karen Woodward commented on the drive and passion for Apprenticeships over the last year and gave a special thank you to Oaklands for hosting the celebrations.

Zoe Hancock, Principal, commented:“At Oaklands we are very proud of the long standing reputation that we have built in providing outstanding work based learning opportunities for students and employers.

“It was great to host an award ceremony that gives praise to the great work carried out with Apprenticeships and reward those who have stood out in their hard work, commitment and dedication.

“I would like to congratulate all of the winners and hope others feel inspired by their successes.”
