Outstanding BTEC Award for Hannah

LONDON — Oaklands own, Hannah Martin, was recognised for her achievements and commitment to the course at this year’s National BTEC Awards.

Hannah, who studies BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design at Oaklands College, took home an Outstanding BTEC Creative Art and Design Student of the Year award at the ceremony last Thursday 7 July.

Held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London, the ceremony is a celebration of success where students from across the UK are rewarded for their hard work. This year nearly 1,000 nominations were submitted across 19 award categories.

Last year, Hannah won a bronze medal in the graphic design category at the WorldSkills UK National Finals at the NEC in Birmingham. She enjoys working on different projects and actively supports other students on her course.
