Stop the War Coalition visits Oaklands College
On March 10th Citizenship A2 students were given a unique presentation by Alistair Cartwright from Stop the War Coalition.
On March 10th Alistair Cartwright from Stop the War Coalition visited Citizenship A2 students to help enrich the curriculum.
Alistair presented a very informative history of the Stop the War Coalition and engaged the students in relevant debates about the subject material, including whether or not we should sanction Iran for its nuclear programme and the current situation in Libya.
The students also learnt about letter writing and how they should address their local MP about the issues that affect them.
