Student Work Experience Success!
The King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development is a prestigious award that recognises and applauds outstanding achievements made by businesses in the UK.
The event was honoured by Robert Voss, His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, and The King’s personal representative, who presented JPA Workspaces with their Grant of Appointment scroll and a commemorative crystal bowl.
Our Lecturer in Photography, Dr Anna Fairchild led the collaboration between Oaklands College and JPA Workspaces which allowed students – Arthur Hagland, Madeline Rainbow, Summer Young and Jodie Goodge to gain valuable work experience alongside their studies.
A massive well done to the students who took part in the event 👏
At Oaklands College, as a part of our mission to shape futures and transform lives we strive to prepare every learner for work, a rewarding career, and life’s opportunities. We do this by treating every student as the individual they are, with care, passion and understanding in a professional, contemporary and community-focused environment they’ll value and enjoy.
