Our St Albans Campus offers a beautiful semi-rural location and this the site from which for our land-based industries are situated. The college has excellent learning resources and students can access the learning resource centres to use PCs and obtain support for their learning if required.

This should not really be a surprise when one considers that a Golf Course or Sports stadium Manager may be responsible for facilities and equipment worth millions of pounds. All the department staff have a background in Greenkeeping and Sportsturf industries. Staff have helped develop apprenticeships standards as part of Trail Blazer and Apprenticeship advisory groups. The department includes Independent End Point Assessors for apprenticeships at level 2, 3 and 5.
Staff have contributed to the development of national learning materials for Greenkeeping and worked with Awarding bodies to help create End Point Assessment materials. Staff are suitably qualified to guide both student and employer regarding the most suitable routes and funding options.
