Swedish students visit Equine Centre
Last week, equine students from Sweden visited Oaklands College Equine Centre on a specially organised visit, designed to forge links between the two countries.
ST ALBANS — Last week, equine students from Sweden visited Oaklands College Equine Centre on a specially organised visit, designed to forge links between the two countries.
The students were treated to a ride through the local countryside and then talks about the UK equine industry which they were keen to learn about. They also got some hands-on experience dissecting a horse’s leg to learn about ligaments and tendons and then finished off the day with a lecture about equine and human psychology.
The visit was beneficial to all of those involved.
