On 12 March Oaklands College is asking all local businesses and schools to wear blue for Bailey Sarwa and donate £1 towards raising vital funds for medical care to help him fight neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.
Bailey is a 12-year-old boy from St Albans and has already bravely fought off cancer once, but has recently relapsed and therefore not eligible for the life-saving antibody that is available here in the UK. He needs to raise between £100,000 to £500,000 to pay for treatment in Germany and so the college is asking the community to come together on this one day and help support Bailey and his family raise as much money as they can to give him the best chance of getting well again.
Blue is Bailey’s favourite colour, so wherever you are on Wednesday 21 March and whatever you are doing, don’t forget to wear blue and donate £1 towards helping Bailey reach Germany.
