On Friday 1 October we welcomed Mark Pinchin, London co-ordinator for Youth for Human Rights International, to the college.
Mark spoke to students studying Citizenship, Government and Politics, Sociology, Media Studies and Critical Thinking about the history of human rights and their role today.
Students passionately debated why human rights are important and what individuals can do to uphold, protect and responsibly educate others about human rights.
The session was a great success and we look forward to welcoming Mark back to the college in the future.
